Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Lyle Alzado (ranked 1821 p4p, 4084 weight class) and Jason Hightower (ranked 231 p4p, 460 weight class). Hightower has chosen The Power as his entrance music. Jason Hightower has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lyle Alzado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Hightower!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Hightower.
Hightower fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Alzado has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hightower walks into a straight right hand from Alzado.
Hightower's corner calls for a 1-2. Hightower obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Alzado fails with an attempt to clinch.
Alzado moves into the clinch.
Alzado throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hightower blocks it with crossed arms.
Alzado with a knee to the head.
Hightower lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Alzado swings wildly with an uppercut but Hightower uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hightower lands a right hand.
A short right from Hightower on the inside.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Alzado working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Alzado tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Hightower unloads a knee to the mid-section. Alzado lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Alzado is breathing heavily.
Hightower lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Hightower pushes Alzado back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Hightower lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Hightower breaks from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hightower connects with a solid leg kick.
Alzado has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hightower.
Hightower connects with a quick right hand that sends Alzado tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Jason Hightower!
A relieved looking Jason Hightower thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
