Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bertel Haardt (ranked 2400 p4p, 5220 weight class) and Will Nelson (ranked 296 p4p, 537 weight class). Bertel Haardt could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Will Nelson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bertel Haardt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Will Nelson! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haardt scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Will Nelson has been cut. Nelson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Haardt drops down looking for a counter takedown but Nelson sprawls and moves away. No luck with that takedown attempt from Nelson. Will Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nelson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Haardt counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Bertel Haardt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Will Nelson. Haardt throws a body kick that misses. Haardt looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Nelson avoids the head kick by Haardt.
Nelson shoots in for a double leg but Haardt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Haardt lands a head kick!
Haardt stuffs the takedown. Haardt pushes Nelson up against the cage in a clinch. Haardt lands a hook that snaps the head of Nelson backwards. Haardt lands a vicious elbow to the side of Nelson's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Haardt tries to finish him with strikes but Nelson still seems able to defend himself so Haardt steps back and lets Nelson get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
Nelson is rocked!
That has opened up Will Nelson's cut even more. Nelson looks winded! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nelson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Nelson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Nelson is trying to move to mount but Haardt reverses beautifully and ends up in Nelson's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nelson controls Haardt momentarily but Haardt frees himself. Haardt decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Nelson has his takedown stuffed and Haardt counters with a nice right hand that sends Nelson toppling to the canvas! Nelson scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Haardt finish him?!
Will Nelson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Will Nelson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bertel Haardt!
