Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Falcon (ranked 3387 p4p, 23187 weight class) and Akello McGee (ranked 430 p4p, 621 weight class). Falcon comes to the cage accompanied by O RetrĂ´ Ativo - HerĂ³is do Status Quo. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Falcon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akello McGee! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Falcon looks for a takedown but McGee sprawls well. McGee is looking to clinch but Falcon is avoiding it.
A head kick from McGee lands but Falcon takes it in his stride. Falcon drives through with a takedown into McGee's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. McGee working a defensive guard here.
McGee keeping moving, preventing Falcon from controlling successfully. McGee had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Falcon defends it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGee is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Falcon avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
McGee utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Falcon is working McGee over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Falcon slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. McGee is trying to hold Falcon in close to prevent damage but Falcon has managed to pass into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ground and pound from Falcon. Falcon slips a nice elbow through McGee's hands, connecting with McGee's forehead. Falcon is trying to work for a kimura but McGee is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. McGee is trying to get back to full guard. McGee slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. McGee is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Falcon won't allow McGee to sweep him here. Falcon connects with a couple of short punches. Falcon avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. McGee wants to control the position but Falcon says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. McGee is looking to improve his position.
Falcon slows the pace down in half guard. McGee looking for submissions off his back. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Falcon connects with a nice short shot to McGee's temple. Falcon lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Falcon is keen to just control but McGee is a slippery customer. McGee is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Falcon pulls his head out easily. McGee is staying active underneath Falcon, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McGee trying to control but Falcon postures up.
Falcon slows the pace down in half guard. Falcon is sneakily working for an arm triangle but McGee sees it coming and defends easily. Falcon is taking a breather. McGee says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Falcon is working for a kimura but McGee is defending it quite comfortably.
McGee is looking to improve his position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Falcon dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Falcon shoots in for a takedown but McGee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. McGee gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Falcon to score an easy takedown into full guard. McGee pushes Falcon off and gets back to his feet.
Falcon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Falcon has his takedown stuffed and McGee counters into the clinch. Nicely done. McGee misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Falcon.

Falcon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Falcon. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Falcon. That's going to take a lot out of him. McGee wants to clinch but Falcon slips to the side and Falcon counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Falcon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Falcon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Falcon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of McGee's head. Falcon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Falcon works over McGee with some ground and pound from guard. McGee is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Falcon rolls with it to try and escape but McGee cranks on the arm and Falcon is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

A very excited looking Akello McGee made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
