Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tommy McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Czeslaw Pendrak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Tommy McDonald has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy McDonald! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Czeslaw Pendrak! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Pendrak. No joy for McDonald on that attempt. McDonald pushing out the jab but it's not landing. McDonald throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pendrak sees it coming and avoids it easily. McDonald connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Pendrak drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pendrak trying to control the position but McDonald is working away. McDonald is looking for a sweep. Pendrak has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. McDonald is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. McDonald shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Pendrak throwing hammer fists to the chest of McDonald. What's that going to do exactly? McDonald goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Pendrak is on top in guard.
Pendrak wants to control from the top but McDonald keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pendrak tries to free his leg and advance position but McDonald is retaining full guard. Pendrak throws a big right hand that misses. McDonald seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. McDonald is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
McDonald has his foot on Pendrak's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pendrak works his way back into a safe position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McDonald keeping moving, preventing Pendrak from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McDonald trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Pendrak is posturing up here but McDonald has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Pendrak tries to roll out but it's too tight and Pendrak has to tap! Slick submission there by McDonald!
