Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raminus Polus (ranked 1041 p4p, 1379 weight class) and Benjamin Sisko (ranked 152 p4p, 204 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raminus Polus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benjamin Sisko!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sisko misses with a hook
and Polus counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sisko jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Polus looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sisko misses with a body shot.
It looked like Polus was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Sisko.
Polus ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Polus is looking to counter punch.
Polus waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sisko.
Polus lands a jab to Sisko's midsection.
Sisko misses with an uppercut. Polus saw that one coming.
Benjamin Sisko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Polus connects with a nice looking jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Sisko misses the target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sisko throws the left hand but Polus avoids the punch easily.
Sisko throws a hook to the side of Polus's head but Polus sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A lazy left from Sisko finds it's target.
Polus gets caught napping as Sisko dives in and scores a takedown. Polus manages to retain guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sisko chips away with some ground and pound.
Sisko throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Sisko trying to control but Polus is working from the bottom.
Sisko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sisko working his ground and pound in the gym.
Polus keeping moving, preventing Sisko from controlling successfully.
Sisko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Polus is keeping the position for now.
Polus controls Sisko momentarily but Sisko frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Polus is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sisko is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sisko throws a big right hand that misses.
Sisko forces his way into half guard.
Sisko wants to pass the guard but Polus is defending well.
Polus looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Sisko working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Polus's thigh. Polus counters though and makes it back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sisko wants to control from the top but Polus keeps moving.
Sisko controls from within his opponent's guard.
Polus is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Sisko has his hands clasped together but Polus extends and breaks Sisko's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Polus.
