The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tofail throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tofail throws a body punch but Maestre moves out of range.
Tofail goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Maestre misses with an uppercut. Tofail saw that one coming.
Maestre ducks under a wild hook from Tofail.
Tofail steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Maestre.
Tofail is looking to land body kicks.
Tofail throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Maestre walks into a jab.
Maestre misses with a looping right.
Maestre just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromTofail.
Tofail paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maestre throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Maestre looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Tofail throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Maestre stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Tofail slips a jab from Maestre.
Luis Maestre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Tofail.
Maestre looks winded!

Tofail throws a big shot that misses.
A nice side step and Maestre releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Maestre throws a series of punches but Tofail moves out of range.

Maestre looks to throw the jab but Tofail is out of range.
We've been told by Tofail's head coaches at Bear Jew's social club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Tofail plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Maestre uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tofail.
Maestre gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Maestre swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Maestre ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tofail moves away.
Maestre slips a straight right by Tofail.
Maestre unleashes a big counter combination but Tofail bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Tofail misses with an uppercut. Maestre saw that one coming.
Maestre lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Tofail ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Maestre looks to score with a jab to the body but Tofail is just out of range.
Maestre closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tofail drops Maestre with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Maestre looks back up at him and smiles so Tofail waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Maestre is rocked!

It looks like Luis Maestre has been cut.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Tofail.
Maestre is still on wobbly legs! Can Tofail finish him?
Tofail lands an uppercut, right on the button! Maestre tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
