Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pat Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cameron Bye!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly misses with the combination.

Kelly stands and steps away. Bye gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Kelly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bye moves away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kelly moves out of range as Bye strikes.
Bye ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pat Kelly. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bye lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kelly has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kelly and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A little feinted left hand from Kelly on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kelly swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bye.

Kelly goes for a double leg but Bye avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bye continues to drive forward.
Kelly presses Bye against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Bye prevents a body shot from Kelly.

Bye closes the distance and clinches up with Kelly, looking for a takedown. Bye pushes Kelly against the cage but Kelly circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kelly lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kelly will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kelly pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Bye is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Bye has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
