Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Melo Motts (ranked 1965 p4p, 1772 weight class) and Izzy Fisher (ranked 260 p4p, 237 weight class). Fisher has chosen Bad Motherf-er as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Melo Motts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Izzy Fisher! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Motts closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fisher did well to prevent Motts getting side control. Motts stops Fisher from getting back to his feet.
Motts wants to free his trapped foot but Fisher is holding on for dear life with his legs. Motts uses his free foot to push down on Fisher's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Fisher. Motts content just to control the position here. Motts looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. You get the feeling that Fisher really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Motts controlling his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fisher tries to buck Motts off but he can't manage it. Motts tries to control but Fisher wriggling away. Motts has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Fisher is trying to stand up. Motts controlling from mount. Fisher is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Motts controlling his opponent. Motts has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Motts goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Fisher is on top in guard.
Fisher tries to stand but Motts is controlling from the bottom. Motts is controlling Fisher's posture. Motts has his feet on Fisher's thighs here. He's pushed Fisher off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Fisher screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
