With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bryan Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie clinches with his opponent.
Rantanen lands a body punch.
Rantanen misses with some punches.

Gracie pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gracie looks to throw the jab but Rantanen is out of range.
Rantanen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Rantanen keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Gracie moves forwards but Rantanen connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Rantanen misses with a wild body shot.
And Gracie tries to counter it with a takedown but Rantanen pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Gracie moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gracie moves out of range of the strikes.
Rantanen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Rantanen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gracie.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rantanen scores with a nice head shot.
Sami Rantanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gracie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Gracie gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rantanen.
Sami Rantanen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Rantanen.
Rantanen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Gracie takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nice uppercut there from Rantanen.
Rantanen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Rantanen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gracie on the side of the head.

Rantanen cracks Gracie with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Gracie looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Rantanen finish him?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rantanen lands a nice hook to Gracie's body. Gracie takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can Rantanen finish him?
Rantanen drops Gracie with a straight right hand, right on the button! Rantanen follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
