Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jordi Pollo (ranked 3079 p4p, 16811 weight class) and King Gutierrez (ranked 177 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that King Gutierrez was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gutierrez throws an overhand right that lands on Pollo's shoulder, as Pollo tries to avoid the shot.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Gutierrez !
Gutierrez cracks Pollo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Gutierrez scores with a one two! Pollo had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Gutierrez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gutierrez misses with a double jab.
Pollo is looking for a counter combo.
Pollo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pollo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Pollo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Gutierrez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pollo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gutierrez is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
