Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Caio Victor (ranked 284 p4p, 575 weight class) and Bong Ji Woo (ranked 39 p4p, 77 weight class). Bong Ji Woo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caio Victor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bong Ji Woo!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ji Woo misses with a wild body shot.
Ji Woo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ji Woo moves out of range of the body kick.
Ji Woo is looking to land body kicks.
Victor drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ji Woo sprawls and moves away.

Victor changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ji Woo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Ji Woo is not content to let Victor control the position.
Ji Woo is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Victor wants to take a breather but Ji Woo manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Victor.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Victor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ji Woo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Our spies down at at Convicted Fight Club inform us that Ji Woo has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Victor looking to sit in guard and control but Ji Woo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Victor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Victor moves out of range of the body kick from Ji Woo.
Bong Ji Woo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Ji Woo counters with a leg kick.
Victor throws out a loose jab but Ji Woo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Victor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ji Woo pinned against the cage. Ji Woo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Nice sprawl there from Ji Woo as Victor shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caio Victor. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Caio Victor will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Victor.
Ji Woo steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Ji Woo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Victor on the side of the head.
