Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chief Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chief Bull has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chief Bull! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bull wants to control from the top but Rua keeps moving.
Bull gets to his feet - Rua follows without any prompting. Bull avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bull connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rua's hands.
Bull has Rua up against the cage in a clinch.
Rua tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Rua connects with a knee to the head.

It looks like Chief Bull has been cut. Rua creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Bull has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rua is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Bull is trying to break free. Rua tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Rua prevents Bull from breaking the clinch. Rua connects with a knee to the head.
Rua throws a knee to the head but misses.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Rua tries a knee to the head but Bull blocks it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Rua throws a knee to the head but misses.
Bull blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Bull wants to break free but Rua has control.
Bull tries to pull guard but Rua holds him up against the cage and eventually Bull drops back down to his feet.

Bull gets control of Rua's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bull will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Bull wants to get back to his feet but Rua is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bull utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bull is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Rua wants to stand but Bull is controlling his posture from full guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bull looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Rua puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Bull works his way to full guard. Good work. Bull trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Bull wriggles free and stands up.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua throws a sloppy head kick and Bull moves out of range easily.
Rua forces Bull back against the cage and clinches. Rua tries a knee to the head but Bull blocks it.
Rua looks gassed!
Bull has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Rua clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Bull lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. What can Rua do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Rua is trying to stand back up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Rua tries to escape the position.
Rua is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Bull has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Rua. Bull has good solid back control here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chief Bull dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chief Bull's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rua throws a head kick that misses.
Bull moves into range and clinches up with Rua. A head punch on the inside from Rua fails to land. Rua using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bull has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Rua with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Bull's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Rua closes the distance looking to clinch
and Bull counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rua! Bull controlling from the full mount. Rua is wriggling around trying to escape.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bull avoids the attempt from Rua to control. Rua is breathing heavily. Bull connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Bull controlling his opponent. Bull seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rua for as long as he can get away with.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bull lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Bull has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rua's face.
Rua really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bull. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bull takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua is desperately trying to improve his position but Bull has a good base and remains in mount. Rua is squirming around, avoiding Bull's attempts to control the action. Bull controlling the position easily from mount.
 The referee stands the fighters back up. Chief Bull just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Rua checks a low kick from Bull.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bull looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rua wants to get back to his feet.
Bull throwing shots but Rua is blocking nicely. Bull is looking to take a break and control but Rua is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rua flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chief Bull dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Chief Bull's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Rua closes the distance but Bull moves to the side
and Bull counters with a single leg into guard. Rua didn't expect that. Bull wants to control from the top but Rua keeps moving. Bull passes Rua's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bull stalling. Rua pushes Bull off but Bull dives into side control.
Rua takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bull remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Bull is trying to get an arm triangle but Rua is defending well. Rua is trying to get back to his feet. Bull controls the position from side control.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rua tries to control but Bull manages to take his back. Rua wants to get back to his feet.
Bull is cranking Rua's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Rua! He's tightened the choke and Rua is tapping out!
