Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turn moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mattos. Turn does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mattos keeps the fight on the outside.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mattos! But no joy.
We've been hearing reports that Turn has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Turn tries for a takedown but Mattos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mattos throws out a counter right but Turn avoids it with no problem.
Mattos moves away from the strike by Turn .

Turn fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mattos sprawls well initially but Turn persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mattos tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Turn manages to move to mount!
Turn throwing strikes here but Mattos is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Mattos is squirming around, avoiding Turn 's attempts to control the action.
Turn throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Turn thowing shots but they're missing.
Mattos is looking to get to half guard.
Turn punishing his opponent with strikes.

Turn throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Mattos can't escape the position.

Turn working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Turn misses with a head shot.
Turn trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Turn throwing strikes here but Mattos is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Turn with the ground and pound from mount.
Turn landing strikes from the mount.
Mattos felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mattos can do anything to dispel that myth.
Turn punching from mount but Mattos doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Mattos tries to lock up and control but Turn gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Poor strikes thrown by Turn there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Turn fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Turn quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Turn but it's paid off an Mattos is forced to tap! Nice work by Turn .
