Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Psion Phyrrus (ranked 1658 p4p, 2003 weight class) and Ilya Muromets (ranked 248 p4p, 292 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ilya Muromets was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ilya Muromets!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Phyrrus misses.
Muromets fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Muromets slips a jab from Phyrrus.
Phyrrus swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Phyrrus scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Muromets throws a lazy right hand but Phyrrus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Muromets lands a nice hook to Phyrrus's body. Phyrrus takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Phyrrus's jab looks to have found its range, popping Muromets under the eye.
A big left from Phyrrus misses.
Phyrrus falls off balance throwing a combination
and Phyrrus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Muromets scores with a push kick.
Muromets uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Phyrrus has time to react.

enabling Muromets to counter with a crisp jab.

and Muromets counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Muromets throws an overhand right that lands on Phyrrus's shoulder, as Phyrrus tries to avoid the shot.
Phyrrus thows a left - swing and a miss!
As Phyrrus backs off Muromets throws a huge counter combo but Phyrrus manages to avoid it all.
Muromets throws a nice looking combination but Phyrrus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Phyrrus throws a poor cross that misses
and Muromets counters with a crisp right hand that drops Phyrrus! Muromets lets Phyrrus back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Phyrrus is rocked!
It looks like Psion Phyrrus has been cut.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Phyrrus just misses with a punch to the body.
Oh Phyrrus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Phyrrus throws a predictable looking body shot
and Muromets counters with a crisp one two that drops Phyrrus! Muromets thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Phyrrus to his feet! Phyrrus is in big trouble!
Muromets moves in close and cracks Phyrrus with a massive right hand! Phyrrus, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Muromets!
