Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Conrad Killstrike (ranked 3530 p4p, 2333 weight class) and Inacio Azevedo (ranked 460 p4p, 328 weight class). Killstrike comes to the cage accompanied by Infinite Darkness by - KILLSWITCH ENGAGE. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Conrad Killstrike!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Inacio Azevedo!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A thudding body kick lands there by Killstrike!
A chopping leg kick lands by Killstrike.
Killstrike seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Killstrike cracks Azevedo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

A solid leg kick lands there for Killstrike.
Killstrike connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Some wild striking there from Killstrike.
Azevedo drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Killstrike defends it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Azevedo blocks a head kick by Killstrike.
Killstrike scores with a nice head shot.
Killstrike's corner calls for a 1-2. Killstrike obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Killstrike lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Killstrike misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Killstrike connects with a crisp jab.
Azevedo moves forwards but Killstrike connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Azevedo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Killstrike.
Killstrike connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Killstrike cracks Azevedo with an open hand slap.
Killstrike lands with a kick to the temple. Azevedo shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Killstrike is looking to slow Azevedo down with leg kicks.
Killstrike is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
That kick from Killstrike tenderised Azevedo's leg. Azevedo is trying to keep his angry face on.
Killstrike jabs Azevedo right on the nose. Azevedo blinks but takes it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Killstrike works the jab nicely.

Azevedo avoids the head kick by Killstrike.
Killstrike clobbers Azevedo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Killstrike tries a head kick but it misses.
Azevedo changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Azevedo ducks under a wild hook from Killstrike.
Azevedo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Killstrike lands a nice leg kick that just misses Azevedo's sensitive parts.
Azevedo has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Azevedo there as he acknowledges the shot.
Killstrike misses the shot to the body.
Azevedo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
A jab lands there for Killstrike.
Killstrike lands a glancing blow to the side of Azevedo's head.
Killstrike lands a jab to the nose.
Killstrike misses with a leg kick

and Azevedo counters with a shoot takedown. Killstrike fights it but they end up in guard.
Killstrike is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Azevedo dives into side control.
Killstrike is breathing heavily.

Killstrike is looking for a sweep.

Azevedo has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Killstrike is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Azevedo yanks on the arm and Killstrike is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Azevedo.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Inacio Azevedo!
