Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, LaTroy Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Raykuza Maui!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maui throws a right hand that misses
letting Johnson counter with a right hand.
It looks like Raykuza Maui has been cut.
Johnson misses with a hook
and Maui counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like LaTroy Johnson has been cut.
Maui scores with a hook.
Maui throws a poor cross that misses
and Johnson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
LaTroy Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maui dips to his left and cracks Johnson with an uppercut!

and Maui takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

and Johnson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Johnson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Maui now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Maui avoids the head kick by Johnson.
Maui looks like he wants to counter punch here.
A slapping body kick lands there for Johnson.
Maui looks winded!
A solid leg kick lands there for Johnson.
Johnson lands a really nice looking cross but Maui seems unphased.
That has opened up Raykuza Maui's cut even more.
Maui slips under a jab.
Maui fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Johnson looks to score with a jab to the body but Maui is just out of range.
Johnson has closed the distance and engaged Maui in a clinch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Maui ducks straight into an uppercut from Johnson and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Maui manages to regain guard straight away.

Maui is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Johnson is controlling him.

Maui looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Maui ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnson moves away.
Johnson appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Johnson misses with a two punch combination.

Maui misses with an uppercut. Johnson saw that one coming.
A shot to the liver by Maui. Beautiful body shot.
Maui sends Johnson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Maui is motioning to the referee to let Johnson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Johnson is rocked!
Maui swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A little feinted left hand from Johnson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Johnson seems to have got his legs back now.
Johnson throws a jab but it's blocked by Maui.
Maui lands with a good body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Maui takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Johnson misses with a straight left.
Johnson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Maui sees it coming and avoids it easily.
It looks like Johnson has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Johnson misses with a straight right.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Johnson scores with a jab to the head.
Maui throws a body shot but no joy.
Maui feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Johnson sprawling to the canvas! Johnson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Maui finish him?!
Johnson takes a swing at Maui's ribcage but misses.
Johnson swings for the body but Maui moves out of range.
Maui throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Johnson forces Maui back against the cage and clinches.
Maui drops Johnson onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Johnson is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Maui misses with some punches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Maui fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Maui tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Maui lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Johnson backwards.
Johnson is struggling to control the position.
Stalling in the clinch from Maui.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Raykuza Maui showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Johnson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Johnson! Maui is out on his feet! Johnson rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Maui is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Maui is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

A less than humble LaTroy Johnson misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Raykuza Maui spoke after the fight, saying 'There's a reason this guy is undefeated. He's the best. '.
