Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sss Sss (ranked 4771 p4p, 6168 weight class) and Sss Sss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Fighter A shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
And Fighter B responds with a good body kick, but Fighter A manages to step out the way in time.
Fighter B shoots in looking for a takedown but Fighter A manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fighter B's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fighter A swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Fighter B dives in and scores a takedown into Fighter A's guard.
Fighter A is pulling down on Fighter B's head to control his posture.
Fighter A can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fighter B controls the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter B has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fighter A is proving hard to escape from.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Fighter B trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fighter A's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fighter B trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Fighter A slaps away a takedown attempt from Fighter B, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Fighter B shoots in looking for a takedown but Fighter A manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fighter B's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sss Sss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sss Sss.

Fighter B gets a double leg takedown into Fighter A's guard.
Fighter A is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Fighter B wants to get up but he can't break Fighter A's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter A managing to control the position.
Fighter B postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Fighter A has a closed guard, preventing Fighter B from standing up.
Fighter A has control of Fighter B's left arm, preventing Fighter B from doing any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Fighter A has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Fighter B closes the distance and clinches up with Fighter A, looking for a takedown. Fighter B pushes Fighter A against the cage but Fighter A circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fighter A closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fighter B to the mat! Fighter B manages to get full guard.
Fighter B is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Fighter A looking to pass the guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sss Sss dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!

Fighter B displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fighter A.
And Fighter B tries to counter it with a takedown but Fighter A pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Fighter A closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fighter B to the mat! Fighter B manages to get full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter B can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fighter A controls the pace.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fighter B is looking to stand up but Fighter A isn't so interested in that idea.
Fighter A content to stall in guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Fighter A with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Fighter B wants to get back to his feet but Fighter A is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Fighter B blocks the body kick.
Fighter B counters with a body kick.

Fighter B shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fighter A napping and manages to drive through into side control!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter B tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Fighter A throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
You can see the frustration on Fighter A's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fighter A tries to buck Fighter B off but Fighter B is having none of it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fighter A holds on to Fighter B's head and controls the position momentarily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Fighter A is looking for a sweep.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fighter B closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fighter A circles away.
Fighter A shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fighter B but Fighter B pushes him off and we're back to square one.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sss Sss showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Fighter A shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fighter B's guard.
Fighter A sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Fighter A's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Fighter A won't allow Fighter B to get back to his feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Fighter B shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fighter A as he avoids it easily.
Fighter B will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fighter B fails with a takedown attempt.
Sss Sss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sss Sss.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter B shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fighter A pinned against the cage. Fighter A gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fighter A throws a quick counter kick to the body but Fighter B avoids it.

Fighter A looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fighter A won't allow Fighter B to get back to his feet.
Sss Sss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Sss Sss is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Fighter B being controlled here, momentarily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Fighter A throwing strikes from guard but Fighter B blocks nicely.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sss Sss showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Fighter B has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
