Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Nikolai Magomedov (ranked 22687 p4p, 22329 weight class) and Taz Bandichoo (ranked 112 p4p, 110 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Bandichoo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Magomedov pushes Bandichoo up against the ropes in a clinch.

I was talking to Magomedov's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Bandichoo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Bandichoo scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Magomedov beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Magomedov is rocked!
Bandichoo cracks Magomedov with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Magomedov is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Magomedov is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Magomedov could not beat the count!
