Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cole Watts (ranked 2433 p4p, 2381 weight class) and Cedric Simard (ranked 312 p4p, 305 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Watts might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Shook Ones - By: Mobb Deep. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cole Watts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cedric Simard!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watts throws a nice inside leg kick.
Simard shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Watts misses with a hook. Simard ducked under it nicely.
Simard takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Simard shoots for a double leg takedown but Watts sprawls well. He's pushed Simard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Simard changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Watts tries to avoid it but Simard manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Watts to the ground. Watts escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
