Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anton Meshkov (ranked 2332 p4p, 1391 weight class) and Edward Mills (ranked 298 p4p, 184 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mills's choice of entrance music: Rock the Dragon. Dragonball Z. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mills fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Meshkov, pushing him back against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Meshkov.
Meshkov lands with a right to the head.
Meshkov manages to break the clinch.
Mills shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Meshkov sprawls well. Meshkov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mills gets slowly back to his feet.

Mills lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Mills closes the distance and clinches up with Meshkov, looking for a takedown. Mills pushes Meshkov against the cage but Meshkov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The fighters circle momentarily. Meshkov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Edward Mills will probably get the nod.
