Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between ed gein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zak Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simmons has chosen lonley train as his entrance music. Zak Simmons has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with ed gein's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
gein closes the distance and pushes Simmons back into the cage.
gein drops down looking for an ankle pick but Simmons pulls his leg out and moves away.
gein tries to keep at a distance but Simmons has taken the fight into the clinch.
gein manages to break the clinch.
gein moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Simmons looks gassed!
gein does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
gein feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
gein decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Simmons stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. gein swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Simmons drops back, looking for a kneebar! gein looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. gein looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from gein!

A decent looking body kick lands there for Simmons.

gein has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Simmons is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

ed gein overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

gein blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
gein pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
gein closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
gein drops an elbow to the side of Simmons's head.
gein stands up from half guard.
gein misses with a double jab
and Simmons makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Simmons throws a sloppy head kick and gein moves out of range easily.
gein tries to clinch but Simmons is having none of it.
gein gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

gein ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. gein no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
gein is looking to stand up but Simmons isn't so interested in that idea.

Simmons is stalling here. gein is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Simmons seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and gein has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
