Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Martin Ferg (ranked 4247 p4p, 4521 weight class) and Borov Menuchk (ranked 474 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferg comes into the arena with The Purge blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martin Ferg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Borov Menuchk! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Menuchk has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Menuchk chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ferg can pounce on him.
Ferg has managed to clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Menuchk takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Ferg pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Menuchk taking a breather. Menuchk stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Ferg is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ferg fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Menuchk will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Ferg up against the cage. Menuchk taking a breather. Ferg struggles to land a body shot inside as Menuchk controls his hands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ferg tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Menuchk just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Martin Ferg. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ferg looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Menuchk slowing the pace effectively. Menuchk has Ferg pressed against the cage.

Menuchk stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Menuchk wants it to stay on the feet. Menuchk throws a big counter head kick but Ferg avoids it with no problem. The fight moves into the clinch position. Menuchk struggles to land a body shot inside as Ferg controls his hands.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Menuchk as Ferg tries to tie him up. Ferg is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Menuchk is defending well. Menuchk keeps control of Ferg as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Menuchk stalling the fight.

Borov Menuchk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ferg has closed the distance and engaged Menuchk in a clinch.
Menuchk keeps control of Ferg as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Menuchk prevents the takedown attempt.
