Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kai Hapa (ranked 4400 p4p, 24538 weight class) and Mmm Mmm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mmm Mmm told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mmm shoots in and bounces Hapa off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hapa wants to stand but Mmm is controlling the position.
Mmm content to stall in guard here.
Hapa wants to stand and escape but Mmm is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mmm is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

and Mmm finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Hapa stalks Mmm and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mmm's face. Mmm staggers backwards, shaken.
Hapa lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Hapa throws a series of punches but Mmm moves out of range.
Mmm steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Hapa throws a series of strikes that have Mmm backpedaling.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hapa works over Mmm's head and body with a nice combination.
Hapa misses with the combination.
Mmm dodges the punch combination from Hapa.
Mmm replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Hapa blocks it well.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Hapa enables Mmm to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hapa manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Hapa is wriggling around but Mmm manages to pass to half guard.

Mmm shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hapa's guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hapa, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
