The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hill!
Hill is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Palo is controlling him well.
Hill seems a little lost for a moment, as Palo dominates the positioning.

Palo controls the position from side control.
Palo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Palo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Palo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
You can see the frustration on Hill's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Palo has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hill is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Palo yanks on the arm and Hill is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Palo.
