Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clarence Hoost (ranked 517 p4p, 866 weight class) and Anthony Wayne (ranked 71 p4p, 119 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wayne's choice of entrance music: Edge Of A Revolution- Nickelback. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anthony Wayne!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne throws a low kick but Hoost avoids it.
Hoost swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hoost staying out of range there.
Hoost tries to counter by clinching up but Wayne breaks away and moves out of range.
Hoost slips under a jab from Wayne.
Hoost is looking to counter punch.
The fighters circle momentarily. Wayne darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Clarence Hoost has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hoost. Wayne does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wayne throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wayne takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A chopping leg kick lands by Hoost.
Hoost tests Wayne's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Anthony Wayne has been cut.
Wayne digs a good hook to Hoost's body.
Wayne misses with a lunging right hand
and Hoost counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Wayne takes one to the chin there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wayne swings for the body but Hoost moves out of range.

Wayne swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Wayne just misses with a punch to the body.
Wayne throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wayne throws a hook but Hoost avoids it easily.
Hoost fires out a quick counter leg kick but Wayne just manages to avoid it.

Hoost throws a body shot but no joy.

Hoost lands a big head kick that sends Wayne tumbling to the mat! Hoost takes a step backwards and waves Wayne back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Wayne is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Hoost has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Wayne.
Hoost blocks the body kick.
Wayne throws a lazy right hand but Hoost sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Hoost lands a big uppercut and Wayne crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Wayne looks OK. Hoost waves Wayne back to his feet!

That has opened up Anthony Wayne's cut even more.
Wayne misses with a head kick.
Wayne lands a leg kick that knocks Hoost off balance momentarily.
Wayne doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hoost jabs at Wayne's body.
Hoost throws a nice inside leg kick.
Wayne falls off balance throwing a combination
and Wayne takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

The cut above Anthony Wayne's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Wayne jabs Hoost to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Wayne's corner calls for a 1-2. Wayne obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Hoost misses with an attempted mid kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Wayne! But no joy.
We've been told by Hoost's head coaches at King's Cross MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Wayne throws a jab but it's blocked by Hoost.
Hoost fires out a quick counter leg kick but Wayne just manages to avoid it.
Hoost is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Wayne thows a leg kick but Hoost checks it
and Hoost makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Wayne takes a swing at Hoost's ribcage but misses.
Hoost lands a nice looking body shot.
Hoost throws the left hand but Wayne avoids the punch easily.

Hoost cracks Wayne with a good jab.
Hoost throws a solid leg kick but Wayne takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hoost.

Hoost attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Hoost punishes Wayne's body with a nice straight punch.

Wayne looks winded!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wayne throws a shot from downtown. Hoost moves away and avoids it.

Anthony Wayne's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Anthony Wayne's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Clarence Hoost!
In his post fight interview, Clarence Hoost started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Anthony Wayne was interviewed post fight and said 'We will go back and watch some film and determine what we need to do to get better for the next time. Hail American Revolutionaries!'.
