Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Blade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, William OConnor!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blade looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? OConnor is fending him off so far but Blade persists. Nope, OConnor circles away and we're back to standing.
OConnor swinging wildly here.
OConnor defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Blade.
Blade lunges at OConnor with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by OConnor's hand.
It looks like William OConnor has been cut.
OConnor is looking to clinch but Blade is avoiding it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blade throws a body punch but OConnor moves out of range.
OConnor fails in his attempt to clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Blade.

Blade has dropped down and is working for a takedown. OConnor is trying to keep an underhook but Blade manages to get the takedown into half guard.
OConnor is trying to control but can't.
Blade prevents OConnor from standing back up.

Blade is taking a breather. OConnor says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
OConnor steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Blade.
OConnor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A counter left hand to the body from Blade misses its target.
Blade looks to score with a jab to the body but OConnor is just out of range.
OConnor darts in trying to clinch
and Blade counters with a left and a right... And another left! OConnor is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
