Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Dirt (ranked 4287 p4p, 4246 weight class) and Dogo Musaga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joe Dirt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dogo Musaga! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dirt throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Musaga tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dirt is in Musaga's guard. Dirt throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dirt stands and steps away. Musaga gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Musaga fails with an attempt to clinch.

Dirt's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Musaga takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Dirt uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Musaga. Dirt closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dirt lands in his opponent's guard. Dirt with a nice head shot there. Dirt gets to his feet. Musaga looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Musaga manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. That was a close round but I would say that Joe Dirt will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

As Musaga looks to move away, Dirt throws a big counter combo but Musaga just gets out of the way. Dirt shoots in and gets a takedown into Musaga's guard. Dirt seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Musaga is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. That's going to sap some energy. Dirt scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Dirt trying to control the position but Musaga is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dirt lands a nice forearm strike. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Musaga tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dirt wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Dirt decides to stand back up. Dirt steps back and let's Musaga get back to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dirt scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Dirt looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Musaga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dirt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dirt trying to control the action but Musaga is working from the bottom.

Musaga tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dirt wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. You can see the frustration on Musaga's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dirt working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Dirt is looking to take a break and control but Musaga is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dirt tries to score with some ground and pound. Musaga controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Musaga tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Dirt easily slips into full mount! Dirt looking for a guillotine from mount but Musaga is having none of it.

Musaga is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Dirt controlling his opponent. Dirt is working for a guillotine from mount but Musaga frees his head quite easily.
Dirt is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Musaga can do to turn this around? Musaga is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Dirt is landing with some decent strikes but Musaga is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Joe Dirt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dirt looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! Joe Dirt showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dirt, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
