The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frank lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Thibodeaux at a distance.

Frank gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Thibodeaux to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Thibodeaux controlling from the top position.
Frank knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Thibodeaux on the ground.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frank could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Thibodeaux postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

and Frank counters with a nice body shot.
Thibodeaux closes this distance looking for a takedown but Frank circles away.
Duchalis Frank has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Treble Thibodeaux.
Frank thuds his right hand into Thibodeaux's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Duchalis Frank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Frank misses with a straight right.
Frank tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Frank thows a left - swing and a miss!
Frank throws a quick inside leg kick.
Thibodeaux tries to close the distance and clinch but Frank swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
It looked like Frank was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Thibodeaux.

Frank tries to keep at a distance but Thibodeaux has taken the fight into the clinch.

A cross from Frank lands.
Thibodeaux shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Frank as he jumps to the side.
Frank misses with an uppercut.
Frank lands a head kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thibodeaux fails with the takedown.
Thibodeaux fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Frank avoids it really well and circles away.
Frank punishes Thibodeaux's body with a nice straight punch.
Frank with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Thibodeaux tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Thibodeaux takes a kick to the side of the head.

And that's the end of the fight!
Duchalis Frank showed his dominance in that final round.
