Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Bald Martin (ranked 5484 p4p, 2043 weight class) and Kaspars Petrovs (ranked 525 p4p, 267 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Martin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I’m Bald And I Know It . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Bald Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 29 - 0, fighting out of London, Kaspars Petrovs!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Petrovs sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Martin swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Petrovs.
Martin connects with a body shot that sends Petrovs's belly button to the back.
The crowd cheers as Martin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Petrovs doesn't seem phased though.

and Petrovs counters with a lovely straight right hand!

A looping hook to the body misses from Martin. Petrovs does a little dance to reset his feet.
Petrovs ducks under a wild hook from Martin.
Martin throws the left hand but Petrovs avoids the punch easily.
Martin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Martin throws a hook to the side of Petrovs's head but Petrovs sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Petrovs unleashes a big counter combination but Martin bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Petrovs has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Petrovs lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Martin circles away quickly and effectively.

A little jabbing left from Petrovs on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Petrovs is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Martin connects with a body shot.
Petrovs takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Martin cracks Petrovs with a good jab.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Petrovs is still on wobbly legs! Can Martin finish him?
Martin closes the distance and catches Petrovs with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Petrovs is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Petrovs is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Petrovs is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Martin takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Bald Martin!
In his post fight interview, Bald Martin started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
