Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Satanic Panic (ranked 295 p4p, 566 weight class) and Zee Land (ranked 41 p4p, 87 weight class). Panic comes to the cage accompanied by Freezing Moon. Land has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. Satanic Panic had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Land will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Panic buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Zee Land seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Land is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Panic swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Land lets loose with a powerful body kick. Panic will feel that in the morning.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Land has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Land is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Panic's half guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Land wants to control but Panic is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Panic tries to get to full guard but Land has control of the leg.
The fighters are battling for position here. Panic manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Panic has his foot on Land's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Land works his way back into a safe position though.

Panic is really struggling to control Land but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Panic might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Panic is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Land is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Panic has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Land can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Land is looking to take a break and control but Panic is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Land has knee on belly momentarily but Panic bucks him off and regains half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
