Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adams Menday (ranked 2021 p4p, 5718 weight class) and Danny Racio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adams Menday!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Danny Racio!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Menday gets a takedown into half guard.
Menday takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Racio is trying to control but can't.
Menday not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Racio felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Menday winds up and cracks Racio with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Racio is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Racio wants to control but Menday is keeping busy.
Menday has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Racio tries to roll over but Menday keeps him under control.
Menday missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Menday landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Racio is trying to get back to full guard.
Menday scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Racio is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Menday looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Racio with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Menday passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Racio!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Racio tries to lock up and control but Menday gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Menday pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
A nice elbow there by Menday.
Racio is trying to escape the mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Racio is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Menday lands a big elbow - Racio is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Racio is forced to tap out!
