Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vasilios Megalos!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kutvonen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Megalos lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kutvonen throws a nice looking combination but Megalos bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kutvonen on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Megalos jabs Kutvonen to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kutvonen swings away with a body shot that misses
and Megalos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Megalos tries to clinch but Kutvonen is having none of it.
Kutvonen throws a good cross that connects.
Megalos swings for the body but Kutvonen moves out of range.

Kutvonen moves into range and clinches up with Megalos.
Megalos swings wildly with an uppercut but Kutvonen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kutvonen wants to stall.
Megalos has Kutvonen pressed against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Megalos misses with a body punch.
Kutvonen doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kutvonen can't find room to land a body shot as Megalos controls the action.

Megalos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Horrible takedown attempt by Megalos or perhaps it was just good defense by Kutvonen, which made it look bad.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Megalos leaves Kutvonen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Megalos misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kutvonen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kutvonen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kutvonen works Megalos's body with a nice hook.
Megalos misses with a right hand
enabling Kutvonen to counter with a crisp jab.
Kutvonen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Megalos stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

We've been hearing reports that Kutvonen has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Megalos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kutvonen was well out of range. Poor timing from Megalos.
Kutvonen throws a monster overhand right that drops Megalos! Kutvonen follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

A relieved looking Lusmu Kutvonen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
