Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nomar Caruso (ranked 3549 p4p, 4324 weight class) and Hido Namaka (ranked 0 p4p, 490 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nomar Caruso! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hido Namaka! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caruso misses with a body kick. Caruso tries a head kick but it misses.
Namaka is looking for the big counter here. Namaka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Caruso throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Namaka counters with a head kick that drops Caruso! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Namaka passes easily into side control. Nice work. Namaka stands up. Namaka throws a leg kick which misses Caruso's front leg but catches the back leg as Caruso tries to avoid it. Caruso tries to land a front kick but Namaka steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Namaka lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Caruso lands a jab to Namaka's midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round. Namaka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Caruso pinned against the cage. Caruso gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Caruso blocks a head kick by Namaka.
Caruso displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Namaka throws out the jab. Caruso half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. The fight moves into the clinch position. Namaka manages to break the clinch.
Caruso lands with a kick to the temple. Namaka shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Caruso throws a right and a left that both miss. Namaka moves into the clinch. Namaka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Namaka drives through and clinches with Caruso against the cage.

Namaka lands a head kick. Caruso smiles back at him and beckons him forward. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Caruso misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Caruso cracks Namaka with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Caruso scores with a jab to the body. A left and a right from Caruso both land. Nice combination. Caruso throws a body kick that misses. Caruso takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Caruso is breathing heavily. Namaka lands with a slapping head kick. Caruso defending well as Namaka loads up on a big left hand. Namaka moves into the clinch. Namaka jumps guard.
Namaka manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Namaka scores with a head kick.

Nomar Caruso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Caruso feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Namakas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hido Namaka dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Caruso changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. A head kick misses from Caruso. Caruso blocks a head kick by Namaka.
Caruso throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Namaka is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Hido Namaka seems to be getting the better of the standup. A jab from Caruso misses. Namaka connects with a leg kick. A head kick from Namaka lands but Caruso takes it in his stride. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Caruso - that will leave a mark!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Caruso scores with a leg kick.

Nomar Caruso is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Namaka looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Caruso is wriggling around but Namaka manages to pass to half guard.
Namaka content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Namaka has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Let's hope that Namaka has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Caruso is trying to control but Namaka manages to pass to mount!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Namaka is continuing to stall. Namaka's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The adventures of Namaka the control monster continue. Boring. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hido Namaka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Caruso misses with a shot to the body and Namaka counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Caruso throws a lazy right hand but Namaka sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Namaka throws a big counter head kick but Caruso avoids it with no problem. Caruso moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Namaka ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Caruso looks to land a combination but Namaka avoids it well. Namaka connects with a leg kick. Namaka looking to score a takedown here. Caruso is defending well but Namaka drives through and ends up in Caruso's guard. Namaka decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Namaka gets a clinch. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Namaka escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

And that's the end of the fight! Hido Namaka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Namaka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
