And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Max Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Taylor swivels and escapes.
Taylor throws a hook but Anderson avoids it easily.
Taylor misses with a jab, cross combination.
It looked like Anderson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Taylor works Anderson's body with a nice hook.
Taylor tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Anderson defends well and Taylor ends up having to push Anderson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
As Taylor tries to get set, Anderson tries to push him back and clinch up but Taylor manages to avoid the attempt.
Taylor shoots in looking for a takedown but Anderson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Taylor's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Anderson is looking to clinch but Taylor is avoiding it.

Anderson clinches up with Taylor and pushes him back against the cage.
Anderson is stalling here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Taylor is looking to break free of the clinch but Anderson has double underhooks.

Anderson is trying to pull guard but Taylor turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Taylor is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Taylor shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Taylor showed some decent athleticism there.
Anderson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Taylor is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Anderson defends it well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Anderson tries to get to full guard but Taylor has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Taylor must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Taylor wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Anderson's closed guard. He's half up but Anderson has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Anderson pivots and extends the arm, Taylor falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Anderson! Well done that man!
