Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Wayne (ranked 1163 p4p, 1363 weight class) and Koua Kamara (ranked 32 p4p, 44 weight class). Wayne comes to the cage accompanied by Edge Of A Revolution- Nickelback. Anthony Wayne could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Koua Kamara's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anthony Wayne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Koua Kamara!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Wayne. Kamara does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kamara checks a low kick from Wayne.
Wayne throws a leg kick
and Kamara counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Anthony Wayne has been cut.
Kamara ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Kamara drops his hands momentarily and Wayne takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Wayne throws the left hand but Kamara avoids the punch easily.

Wayne lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kamara looks to land a right hand but Wayne moved out of range.
Kamara has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
The fighters circling - Wayne throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Wayne takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kamara's coach down at BLK Elite MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kamara's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kamara misses with a hook. Wayne ducked under it nicely.
Wayne tried to counter with a leg kick but Kamara avoided it.
Kamara moves out of range of the body kick.
It seemed like Kamara was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Wayne throws a body shot but no joy.
Wayne pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kamara looks like he wants to counter punch here.

enabling Kamara to counter with a crisp jab.
Anthony Wayne's cut is getting worse.

Wayne dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kamara. That did some damage!
Wayne steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kamara.

Kamara gets cracked there but stands up to it.
That has opened up Koua Kamara's cut even more.
Wayne lands with a hook. Kamara tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kamara throws a looping overhand right but Wayne ducks down to avoid it.

Anthony Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kamara looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Kamara might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Kamara comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Wayne fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kamara manages to avoid it.

Wayne was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Kamara is still on wobbly legs! Can Wayne finish him?
An inside leg kick from Wayne misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kamara! But no joy.
Kamara seems to have recovered his senses.
Kamara bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Despite the aggression on Kamara's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Nice uppercut lands for Wayne. That snapped Kamara's head back.
Kamara bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Wayne comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Kamara falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Kamara was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Anthony Wayne!
