The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Vlek slaps away a takedown attempt from Parker, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Van Vlek gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Parker closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Van Vlek quickly recovers to half guard.
