Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julian Soza (ranked 4355 p4p, 4879 weight class) and TheeeEighyK TestTwo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, TheeeEighyK TestTwo!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

TestTwo drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Soza has a closed guard, preventing TestTwo from standing up.
Soza not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Soza looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
TestTwo postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
TestTwo wants to stand but Soza is controlling his posture from full guard.
Soza keeping moving, preventing TestTwo from controlling successfully.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

TestTwo tries to bum rush Soza with a series of wild strikes but Soza uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

TestTwo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Soza quickly recovers to half guard.
TestTwo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

TestTwo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Soza wants to get back to his feet.

TestTwo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

TestTwo is trying to work for a kimura but Soza is defending well.

TestTwo is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Soza to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
Soza controls TestTwo momentarily but TestTwo frees himself.

TestTwo wants to control from the top but Soza keeps moving.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
TestTwo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Soza lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like TheeeEighyK TestTwo has been cut.
TestTwo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Soza fails in his attempt to clinch.
TestTwo just misses with a punch to the body.
Soza lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Soza throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Soza tries to close the distance and clinch but TestTwo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A head kick from Soza lands but TestTwo takes it in his stride.

TestTwo clinches up against the cage.
Soza tries to stall but TestTwo uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
TestTwo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Soza avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Soza has TestTwo pressed against the cage, preventing TestTwo from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Soza wants a takedown.
TestTwo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Soza smiles and moves away.
TestTwo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Soza counters with a right hand to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
TestTwo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Soza.
TestTwo is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Soza is breathing heavily.

TestTwo forces Soza back against the cage and clinches.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
TestTwo prevents Soza from breaking the clinch.
Soza is looking to take this one to the mat.

Soza tries to pull guard but TestTwo holds him up against the cage and eventually Soza drops back down to his feet.

TestTwo feints and as Soza raises his hands in defense, TestTwo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - TestTwo has eaten all the pies!
TestTwo wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Soza is now in half guard.

Soza is trying to control the action in half guard but TestTwo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
TestTwo is looking for a sweep. Soza is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if TestTwo can do anything to dispel that myth.
TestTwo is trying to maintain the position but Soza is very close to passing his half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
TestTwo pushes Soza off looking to stand but Soza dives back in and keeps control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Soza lands an overhand right.
Soza shoots in for a takedown but TestTwo shows good takedown defense.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Soza enables TestTwo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Soza manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Soza pushes TestTwo off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
TestTwo throws a leg kick but Soza checks it.
Soza tries for a takedown but TestTwo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

TestTwo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Soza was covering up waiting for the punch and TestTwo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Soza has momentary wrist control but TestTwo slips an elbow through the middle.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Soza dives in for a single leg takedown but TestTwo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
TestTwo throws a counter combo.
Come on TestTwo - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Soza keeps control of TestTwo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
TestTwo is trying to pull guard but Soza turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

TestTwo is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Soza drops to a knee looking for a takedown but TestTwo gets the underhooks and prevents it.
TestTwo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
