These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Demarcus Wideman Lll!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wideman Lll jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Anderson fails with a takedown attempt.
Wideman Lll shoots in and drives through. Anderson sprawls well.
A quick step to the side and Anderson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wideman Lll drives through and clinches with Anderson against the cage.
Wideman Lll is trying to trip Anderson. He has hold of a leg but Anderson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wideman Lll persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Anderson will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Wideman Lll is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Anderson is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Wideman Lll frees his head nicely. Oh but Anderson has switched to an armbar! Wideman Lll is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
