Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gotan Wasselach (ranked 1757 p4p, 1014 weight class) and Aatreya Mahrishi (ranked 224 p4p, 136 weight class). Wasselach kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Time Is On My Side. Mahrishi has chosen On the Precipe of Defeat as his entrance music. Aatreya Mahrishi has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahrishi wants to clinch but Wasselach slips to the side
and Wasselach counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Aatreya Mahrishi has been cut.
A telegraphed right hand from Wasselach misses the target.
Mahrishi doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Wasselach throws a body kick that misses.

Mahrishi has managed to clinch.

Mahrishi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wasselach throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mahrishi is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Wasselach with a body shot.

Mahrishi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wasselach.
Wasselach lands a nice hook to Mahrishi's body. Mahrishi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wasselach is looking to wear down Mahrishi with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Mahrishi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wasselachs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
