The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Varga misses the jab.
Karter misses with a low kick as Varga jumps back.
Karter throws a body shot but no joy.
Karter avoids the head kick by Varga.
Karter tries a head kick but it misses.

Varga has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Karter has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

A quick step to the side and Karter tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Varga throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Karter throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Varga tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Karter is in Varga's guard.

Karter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Varga has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Karter has managed to get both his arms back between Varga's legs - danger averted.

Karter sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Varga's guard.

Karter seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Varga is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
