Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wang Chung (ranked 5367 p4p, 6035 weight class) and Adhena Olisabed (ranked 583 p4p, 620 weight class). Chung comes into the arena with Everybody Wang Chung Tonight blaring out of the sound system. Wang Chung has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adhena Olisabed!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olisabed fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Chung on the side of the head.
It looks like Wang Chung has been cut.
Olisabed throws a right and a left that both miss.
Chung appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
A punch combination from Olisabed misses.
Olisabed throws a right hand that Chung ducks under and follows up with a left that Chung also avoids with ease.
Olisabed ducks under a wild hook from Chung.
Chung scores with a jab to the body.
Olisabed throws a right and a left that both miss.
Chung half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Adhena Olisabed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A clash of legs there as Chung blocks the low kick.
Chung feints and as Olisabed raises his hands in defense, Chung changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Chung throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Olisabed works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Chung has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Olisabed wants to stand but Chung is controlling the position.
Chung loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Olisabed pushes Chung off and gets back to his feet.
Olisabed tries to bum rush Chung with a series of wild strikes but Chung uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Olisabed throws a nice looking combination but Chung bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Chung misses with a hook.

Olisabed throws a lazy right hand but Chung sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Olisabed throws a shot from downtown. Chung moves away and avoids it.
Some wild striking there from Olisabed.
Olisabed misses with a head kick.
Olisabed connects with a nice looking jab.
Olisabed looks to land a combination but Chung avoids it well.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Olisabed has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Olisabed misses with a hook. Chung ducked under it nicely.
Chung throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Olisabed was covering up waiting for the punch and Chung finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Olisabed is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Chung dives into side control.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Chung wants to control for a moment but Olisabed uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Chung wants to pass to mount but Olisabed is defending the position.
Chung is just content to waste time from the top position. Olisabed takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Chung won't allow Olisabed to sweep him here.

Chung postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Chung lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Olisabed keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Chung maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Olisabed could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Chung has cracked it and Olisabed is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Chung!
