And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Johns!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camara lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Johns misses with a wild combination.
John Johns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johns takes a swing at Camara's ribcage but misses.
Johns steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Camara.

and Johns counters with a straight right hand.
Johns changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Camara looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Johns is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Camara has escaped the position, nice work there.
Johns tries to score with some ground and pound. Camara controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Johns is looking to take a break and control but Camara is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Johns thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Camara wants to control but Johns postures up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Camara swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Johns drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Camara catches Johns with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Camara gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Johns darts in trying to clinch
and Camara counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

A nice leg kick from Johns, right into the meat of the thigh.
Camara avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Johns throws a lazy uppercut
and Camara counters with a stiff right hand.
Johns rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Camara counters with a nice uppercut.
Camara tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Johns was well out of range. Poor timing from Camara.
Abdelrahman Camara is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Camara throws a nice inside leg kick.
Camara works Johns's body with a nice hook.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Abdelrahman Camara will probably get the nod.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Camara thuds his right hand into Johns's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Johns throws a low kick but it's checked well by Camara.
Johns connects with a body shot that sends Camara's belly button to the back.
Johns takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Johns is rocked!
Johns swings widly with a right hand
and Camara counters with a huge left! Johns is in big trouble! He's backing up but Camara isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Johns from any more damage. A dominating finish by Camara!
