Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Erl Jonsen (ranked 5371 p4p, 5144 weight class) and Bryon McPhearson (ranked 570 p4p, 555 weight class). McPhearson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Control. The key to victory for Erl Jonsen has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Erl Jonsen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bryon McPhearson! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McPhearson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Jonsen! You can see the frustration on Jonsen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jonsen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on McPhearson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Bryon McPhearson opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
