And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Longsun Zhao!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Darius Henderson and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karter cracks Zhao with a right hand to the side of the head.
Zhao misses with a body punch
and Karter counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Zhao thinking.
Karter dodges the punch combination from Zhao.
Karter on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Zhao throws a sloppy head kick and Karter moves out of range easily.
Karter has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Casa Steel in the buildup to the fight.
Karter avoids the head kick by Zhao.
A looping hook to the body misses from Karter. Zhao does a little dance to reset his feet.
Zhao falls off balance throwing a combination
and Karter counters with a crisp right hand that drops Zhao! Karter lets Zhao back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Zhao is rocked!
It looks like Longsun Zhao has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crack! Karter connects with the perfect overhand right and Zhao falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Karter!
