Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mike Martinez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Beer!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beer connects with a nice looking jab.
Beer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Martinez rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Beer counters with a stiff right hand.
Beer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Beer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Martinez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Martinez is breathing heavily.
Beer connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Martinez covering up! Beer comes in with a big uppercut and Martinez goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tony Beer!
In defeat, Mike Martinez stepped up to the mic, saying 'Well I know i lost tonight,but i will comeback better next time,fuck it'.
