Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eddie Bravo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eka Pradana!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravo looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Pradana throws a right hand that Bravo ducks under and follows up with a left that Bravo also avoids with ease.
A telegraphed right hand from Pradana misses the target.
Pradana shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Bravo wants to work for an arm triangle but Pradana is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pradana throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Pradana escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bravo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bravo trying to control the position from guard on top but Pradana is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bravo stands up over Pradana, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Bravo drops back looking for a leg! Pradana is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pradana manages to kick Bravo off! Bravo jumps back into Pradana's guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Bravo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pradana is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bravo is aware though and is defending well.

Pradana can't keep his opponent in guard - Bravo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pradana makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Pradana.
Pradana will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Bravo wants to control from the top but Pradana keeps moving.
Bravo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Bravo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bravo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bravo takes a decent strike to the side of the head.
Bravo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pradana is keeping the position for now.
Bravo scoring with some ground and pound.
Bravo wants to control from the top but Pradana keeps moving.
Pradana isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bravo stacks Pradana on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bravo!
Bravo has an Americana. Pradana didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bravo is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bravo hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Eddie Bravo!
In defeat, Eka Pradana stepped up to the mic, saying 'Next time we meet, I'll destroy you.'.
