The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jameison closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Claw has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Jameison is on him like a limpet, forcing Claw back against the cage.

It looks like Bear Claw has been cut.
Claw wants to clinch up but Jameison keeps it at a distance.
Jameison is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Claw with a body shot.
Claw throws a head kick but Jameison moves out of range.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Jameison has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Claw seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Jameison can turn it around.

Jameison shoots in and bounces Claw off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Claw scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Claw with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Jameison turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jameison manages to end up in side control.

Jameison tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Claw is trying to maintain a safe position but Jameison gets an underhook and turns Claw into the cage.

Claw drops his hands momentarily and Jameison needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Claw just on the top of the head. Claw drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Claw - he's done!
