Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hobo Garrincha (ranked 2667 p4p, 4048 weight class) and Claus Haba (ranked 162 p4p, 228 weight class). The key to victory for Hobo Garrincha has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hobo Garrincha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Claus Haba!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haba fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Garrincha sprawls well initially but Haba persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Haba perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Garrincha controlling the position well.
Garrincha's coaches at Rabid Dog have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Garrincha wants to control but Haba postures up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Haba is pressing down on Garrincha's thigh, looking to free his foot. Garrincha is holding on for now.
Garrincha wants to control but Haba is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Haba stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Garrincha.

and Garrincha counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Haba closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Garrincha's guard.

Haba closes the distance and clinches up with Garrincha, looking for a takedown. Haba pushes Garrincha against the cage but Garrincha circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Garrincha is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Haba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Garrincha swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Haba takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Garrincha scores with a one two! Haba had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Haba is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Haba takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Garrincha counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Haba has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Haba there as he acknowledges the shot.

Garrincha is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Garrincha lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Garrincha throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Garrincha throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Haba stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Garrincha drops Haba with a straight right hand, right on the button! Garrincha follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hobo Garrincha!
A relieved looking Hobo Garrincha thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
