Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gustavo Figueroa (ranked 1464 p4p, 1582 weight class) and Destin Craven (ranked 165 p4p, 180 weight class). Figueroa comes to the cage accompanied by Watch Your Back - The Coathangers. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gustavo Figueroa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Destin Craven!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figueroa misses the jab.
Destin Craven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Craven wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Figueroa looks to throw the jab but Craven is out of range.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Figueroa is on top in guard.
Craven bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Figueroa's guard.

Figueroa cracks Craven with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Craven tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Figueroa pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Craven is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
