Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Hawthorne (ranked 1990 p4p, 24640 weight class) and Seth Rockwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawthorne comes to the cage accompanied by Schism by Tool. The crowd seem to be enjoying Rockwell's choice of entrance music: Whiney (feat. Inja). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Seth Rockwell!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockwell's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hawthorne connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rockwell scrambles back to his feet.
Hawthorne lands a leg kick that knocks Rockwell off balance momentarily.
Hawthorne takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Rockwell with a poor takedown
and Hawthorne counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rockwell is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hawthorne sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Rockwell is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Hawthorne connects with a looping right hand.
Rockwell on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
The crowd cheers as Hawthorne lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rockwell doesn't seem phased though.
Damien Hawthorne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hawthorne's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rockwell under the eye.
Hawthorne has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Silverback MMA in the buildup to the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Hawthorne! Rockwell is out on his feet! Hawthorne rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Rockwell is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Rockwell is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

In defeat, Seth Rockwell stepped up to the mic, saying 'I will hit the gym, get back to the drawing board and see what improvements can be made, you will see me again! '.
